Lake LaCroix RV Resort Cancellation Policy
Planning your stay at Lake LaCroix RV Resort? Please review the following cancellation, modification, and refund policies before booking. These policies are in place to ensure fairness while allowing us to provide consistent, high-quality service to all guests.
Check-In & Check-Out Times
- Check-in time is 1:00 PM, and check-out time is 11:00 AM. A late check-out fee of $25 applies and must be approved in advance by the front office. Late check-out requests are subject to availability.
Payment Requirements
- All reservation charges must be paid in full at least 7 days prior to arrival. We accept major credit and debit cards.
How to Cancel Your Reservation
- All cancellation requests must be submitted in writing via email to frontdesk@lakelacroixrv.com. Cancellations cannot be accepted by phone or in person, as email documentation is required.
Standard Cancellation Policy
- Cancellations made 14 days or more prior to arrival will receive a full refund to the original payment method, minus a $25 cancellation fee to cover non-refundable credit card processing costs.
- Cancellations made between 14 and 3 days before arrival will have the reservation deposit credited to the guest’s account and may be applied toward a future booking within one year of the cancellation date.
- Cancellations made less than 3 days before arrival (after 2:00 PM) will result in the deposit being retained. The deposit may only be applied toward a future stay if cancellation is received before 2:00 PM, three days prior to arrival. (Example: For an April 10 check-in, cancellation must be received before 2:00 PM on April 7.)
Reservation Modifications
- Reservation date changes may be made free of charge if requested at least 72 hours prior to check-in.
Monthly Reservation Cancellation Policy (20+ Days)
- Monthly site reservations must be cancelled or modified at least 30 days in advance. Cancellations made within 30 days of check-in will result in forfeiture of the entire deposit, with no exceptions.
Holiday & Special Event Policy
- For Cruising the Coast and Fourth of July reservations, a 30-day written cancellation notice via email is required. Cancellations received within 30 days of arrival will result in forfeiture of the deposit.
Weather, Early Departures & Force Majeure
- No refunds will be issued due to weather conditions, voluntary early departures, acts of nature, or guest eviction. Refunds will only be issued if FEMA mandates resort closure due to hurricane evacuation.
- All refunds are processed to the original payment method unless a reservation credit is requested. Credits must be used within one year.
No-Show Policy
- Guests who fail to arrive within 24 hours of their scheduled check-in time and do not contact the front office will be considered a no-show. No-shows forfeit all deposits and remain responsible for any unpaid site balance. By booking, guests authorize Lake LaCroix RV Resort to charge the credit card on file for any outstanding balance associated with a no-show.
Park Rules & Regulations
Welcome to Lake LaCroix RV Resort. To ensure a safe, enjoyable, and relaxing stay for all guests, please review the following park rules and regulations.
Check-In & Check-Out Information
- Check-in time is 12:00 PM, and check-out time is 11:00 AM. Guests may not occupy an RV site without prior reservation or approval. Late arrivals should check in at the front office the following morning.
- Early arrivals and late check-outs may be requested in advance and are subject to availability. Additional fees may apply.
Wi-Fi & On-Site Amenities
- Wi-Fi login instructions are provided in your check-in packet and posted on the weekly activities board. Laundry facilities are located in each bathhouse. Please notify staff if assistance is needed. Pet beds and similar items are not permitted in washers.
- Children must be supervised in all laundry and restroom facilities.
Safety & Vehicle Regulations
- The speed limit throughout the park is 5 MPH.
- Parking is not permitted on grass, roadsides, or vacant RV sites. Vehicles must fit within your assigned space. All vehicles, including visitor vehicles, must be registered at the front office and display a vehicle tag.
- Vehicle washing is permitted with advance payment at the office:
- Cars and trucks: $10
- RVs: $20
- Boats under 25 feet: $5
- Boats over 25 feet: $10
- Never leave water running unattended.
Sewer & Waste Disposal
- Grey and black water may not be discharged onto the ground.
- All sewer hoses must be securely connected using a locking device.
- Spills must be reported to the office immediately.
- Smoking is prohibited in the pool area and all indoor facilities, including restrooms and laundry rooms. Cigarette waste must be disposed of properly.
Golf Cart & Vehicle Policy
- Only licensed drivers age 16 and older may operate personal golf carts.
- Rental golf carts require drivers to be 21 or older.
- A $25 flat fee applies for personal golf cart use, and all personal carts must be insured.
- ATVs and four-wheelers are not permitted.
Prohibited Items & Conduct
- Fireworks, BB guns, slingshots, and archery equipment are not permitted without written approval.
- Profanity, aggressive language, and hostile behavior will not be tolerated.
- EV and hybrid vehicles may only be charged at your assigned RV site. Please contact the office if you are unsure.
Campsite Etiquette
- Sites must be kept clean and uncluttered. Clotheslines, grass mats, and carpet coverings are not permitted.
- Canopies are allowed, but tent stakes should not be used due to underground utilities.
- Canopies must be lowered or removed during high winds or severe weather.
Fire & Grill Safety
- Fires are allowed only in designated fire pits or approved containers and must never be left unattended.
- Firewood and fire pit rentals are available at the office.
- Grills may not be placed on picnic tables. Guests are responsible for any resulting damage.
Fishing at the Lake
- Fishing is permitted in the private lake, and no fishing license is required. Guests may keep, clean, or release their catch.
- Fish cleaning must be done only in designated areas. Waste must be double-bagged and disposed of in the dumpster.
- Children must be supervised at all times, and non-swimmers must wear life vests when near the water.
Pool Rules & Hours
- The pool is open daily from 10:00 AM to 10:00 PM, subject to seasonal changes. No lifeguard is on duty — swim at your own risk.
- Children under 14 must be accompanied by an adult. Swim diapers are required for young children.
- No diving or running. Glass containers, bikes, skateboards, and pets are not allowed in the pool area.
- Personal items must be removed daily.
Pet Policy
- Lake LaCroix RV Resort is pet-friendly. Aggressive breeds are not permitted; please consult the office if unsure.
- Pets must be leashed, supervised, and may not be left unattended outdoors.
- Use designated pet areas and clean up after pets using provided waste stations.
- Excessive barking or disruptive behavior during quiet hours (11 PM summer / 10 PM off-season) is not permitted.
