Reserving your stay
How do I book a site at Lake LaCroix?
Nightly and weekly stays book instantly online through Campspot — just hit Check Availability, pick your dates, and choose your site. Monthly and snowbird stays are booked by phone at (228) 220-1704 so we can match you to the right long-term spot at our Bay St. Louis resort.
What are your check-in and check-out times?
RV sites check in at 1:00 PM and check out at 11:00 AM. Lakeside glamping tents check in at 3:00 PM and check out at 11:00 AM. Rolling in late? Let us know and we'll leave your arrival details so you can settle in easy.
Do you take walk-ins?
When we have open sites, yes — but Lake LaCroix fills up fast on summer weekends and through snowbird season, so we always recommend booking ahead on Campspot to lock in your spot on the water.
What's your cancellation policy?
Cancellations are handled through Campspot — the specific terms are listed in your booking confirmation email. If anything's unclear, call our front desk at (228) 220-1704 and we'll help you sort it out.
Is there a deposit?
Deposit and payment details are shown at checkout when you book through Campspot. Everything is spelled out before you confirm, so there are no surprises at the gate.
Rigs, hookups & pads
What size RV can you accommodate?
Most sites at Lake LaCroix fit rigs up to 45 feet, including big fifth wheels and Class A coaches pulling a toad. A few wood-line back-in sites are sized for smaller RVs. Send us your length at (228) 220-1704 and we'll point you to the perfect pad. See all five site types on our RV Sites page.
Do all sites have full hookups?
Yes. Every RV site has full hookups — water, electric, and sewer — with both 30- and 50-amp service on a level concrete pad. Fast, free WiFi reaches throughout the park.
Which sites are right on the lake?
Our Lake Front Pull-Thru and Lake Front Back-In sites sit directly on the spring-fed lake, and the Lake Front Back-In category has the most waterfront spots. Lake View Pull-Thru sites offer a water view a row back. All of them are a short golf-cart ride from the pool and beach.
Are there pull-through sites?
There are. Our pull-throughs near the front of the park are built for big rigs towing a trailer or toad — roll straight in, hook up, and never unhitch. We also have waterfront and lake-view pull-throughs on the lake side.
Do you have ADA-accessible sites?
We do — ADA site options are available. Just note your needs when you book on Campspot or call (228) 220-1704 and we'll set you up.
Camping without the gear
Do I need an RV to stay at Lake LaCroix?
Not at all. Our furnished lakeside glamping tents let you camp on the bayou with no RV, no tent, and no setup. Just bring your bag and your flip-flops. Learn more on the Glamping page.
What's inside a glamping tent?
Each canvas bell tent sits on its own wooden deck and comes furnished with a real bed and cozy touches — comfortable camping right at the water's edge in Bay St. Louis. Check the Glamping page for the current setup and what to bring.
Are the glamping tents good for families?
They're a favorite with families and first-time campers. You get the campfire, the beach, and the golden-hour views without hauling any equipment — a low-stress way to introduce the kids to camping.
Can I use the pool and amenities if I'm glamping?
Yes — glamping guests enjoy the same swimming pool, sandy beach, dog park, pavilion, and kayak rentals as everyone else at the resort. You're part of the whole Lake LaCroix experience.
What's waiting inside the gate
Are pets welcome?
Absolutely — Lake LaCroix is pet-friendly, and there's a fenced dog park on the property so your pup gets a vacation too. Just keep dogs leashed around the park and clean up after them.
What amenities do you have?
A swimming pool, sandy lake beach, fenced dog park, lakeside pavilion, playground, golf-cart and kayak/paddleboard rentals, bonfire firepit, fast free WiFi, and a clean bathhouse with laundry. There are also year-round events. See it all on our Amenities page.
Is there WiFi?
Yes — fast, free WiFi reaches park-wide, so you can stream in the evening or work remote from your site if you're staying a while.
Can I swim in the lake?
You can. Our lake is spring-fed freshwater with a sandy beach — calm and easy, with no Gulf surf or undertow. There's also a swimming pool a short walk from the sites.
Do you rent kayaks or paddleboards? What about golf carts?
Kayaks and paddleboards are yours to rent — push off from our calm lake anytime. We no longer rent golf carts, but you’re welcome to bring your own to cruise the property (a small fee applies). Ask at the front desk or call (228) 220-1704.
Finding us on the Coast
Where exactly is Lake LaCroix?
We're at 6130 Bayou La Croix Rd, Bay St. Louis, MS 39520 — just 2 minutes south of I-10 Exit 13. It's the easiest in-and-out on the Gulf Coast, and we're halfway between New Orleans and the Biloxi beaches.
How far is Old Town Bay St. Louis?
About 10 to 15 minutes. Old Town — sometimes called the Key West of the Gulf Coast — is full of galleries, Gulf-to-table dining, and the monthly Second Saturday Artwalk. See more on our The Area page.
Can I take a day trip to New Orleans?
Easily — New Orleans is about an hour west on I-10. Lots of guests use Lake LaCroix as a quiet bayou basecamp and drive in for the day, then come back to the calm of the lake at night.
What's nearby for families?
Plenty — the INFINITY Science Center at NASA Stennis (about 15–20 minutes), Buccaneer State Park and its waterpark, Gulf beaches, and inshore fishing for redfish and speckled trout. The casinos at Silver Slipper and Hollywood are close too if the grown-ups want a night out.
Is there a lot of highway or casino noise?
No. We're an inland lake resort on the bayou — no Gulf surf, no casino noise, no parking-lot campground feel. Just calm water, shade trees, and slow mornings, 2 minutes off the interstate.
