On the second Saturday of every month, Old Town Bay St. Louis throws open its gallery doors for the Second Saturday Artwalk — live music spills into the street, artists mingle, and shops and restaurants stay open late. It's the easiest way to feel the town's rhythm.

Bay St. Louis is a redfish, speckled trout, and flounder hotspot. Book a local charter or wet a line from the pier — the marsh and barrier islands are loaded.

Getting around Bay St. Louis
How far is Lake LaCroix from Old Town Bay St. Louis?
Old Town Bay St. Louis is about a 12-minute drive from Lake LaCroix RV Resort. You'll find galleries, boutiques, Gulf-to-table restaurants, and a harbor and fishing pier — plus the Second Saturday Artwalk every month.
Are there casinos nearby?
Yes. Silver Slipper Casino is about 15 minutes away and Hollywood Casino Bay St. Louis is close by too — both offer gaming, live entertainment, and waterfront dining. And unlike a casino RV lot, you get to come home to a quiet lake.
Is Lake LaCroix good for a New Orleans trip?
It's ideal. New Orleans is about an hour west on I-10, so you can spend the day in the French Quarter and be back at your site by evening — with a calm lake and no big-city parking to deal with at night.
What is there to do with kids in the area?
Plenty. The INFINITY Science Center at NASA Stennis (about 20 minutes away) has hands-on space exhibits, and Buccaneer State Park's Buccaneer Bay Waterpark has a wave pool and slides. Add the Gulf beaches and you've got easy family days all around.
